Criminal Defense Services
For our criminal-defense clients, we can help you with any misdemeanor or felony charge.
You also don’t have to wait until you’ve been charged. A lot of people wait until they’ve been charged before hiring a lawyer. That’s a bad idea. If the police are contacting you because they think you may have information about a crime, you need to call us right now at (906) 486-4457. Do so before you say something that can get you in trouble or even more trouble.
A misdemeanor is any crime punishable by a maximum of one year in jail or less. Examples of misdemeanors are drunk driving, possession of marijuana, and domestic violence. We’ve helped a lot of Marquette clients charged with misdemeanors and we’ve gotten some great results for them.
A felony is any crime punishable by a maximum or more than one year of prison. Examples of felonies are possession of prescription drugs (like hydrocodone), possession of heroin or methamphetamine; criminal sexual conduct; and if you’ve had two previous drunk drivings. We’ve also helped a lot of Marquette clients charged with felonies and we’ve gotten some great results for them too. One result specific to a Marquette client was a not guilty verdict on 5 counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the first degree (your results may vary).

For example, we help people involved in car accidents, beneficiaries and policyholders trying to get insurance benefits and money, and homeowners suing for bad construction.
If you’ve been hurt in a car accident, we can help you get the benefits you deserve under Michigan’s No Fault Act. That may include money for your lost wages, getting your doctor’s bills paid, and changes to your home to help you stay and live at home. We can also sue the other driver for your pain and suffering. We’ve handled cases involving cars, trucks, and semi-trucks and trailers. The injuries have included everything from broken bones to mild traumatic brain injuries.
